The season is over for the legendary Gastown Football Club. They came up against a determined 13th Legion F.C. on Friday evening. In an extremely physical hard fought encounter, Gastown F.C. were let down by some poor defending and a lack of creativity. They went in down 2-0 at the half but bounced back thanks to a wonderstrike from Keller. They had a chance to equalize late on but it wasn't to be. They'll now re-group for a couple of weeks before commencing their summer season.

I'll admit, this has to be the laziest bit of blogging ever. I am regurgitating a story that I didn't even find. Credit for that (and JT's nickname) must go to the wonderful writers of The Fiver (you really should subscribe). However, it was too good a story not to share - furthermore, the 'journalists' at The People did such a good job at writing a humourous article, I won't even try and steal their thunder by lifting parts of the text.
