The season is over for the legendary Gastown Football Club. They came up against a determined 13th Legion F.C. on Friday evening. In an extremely physical hard fought encounter, Gastown F.C. were let down by some poor defending and a lack of creativity. They went in down 2-0 at the half but bounced back thanks to a wonderstrike from Keller. They had a chance to equalize late on but it wasn't to be. They'll now re-group for a couple of weeks before commencing their summer season.

Guarire Presto #99

Everyone's favourite Italian loony...

Everybody loves, or at least loves to hate, Italy and AC Milan's #99, Antonio Cassano. What you may not know, is that a couple of days ago, the forward suffered what has been described as a 'mini-stroke.' He was suddenly struck by blurred vision, a loss of balance, disorientation and garbled speech. Apparently Antonio is recovering well in hospital, and is expected to make a full recovery. We at GFC wish the little trouble-maker the speediest of recoveries, and we hope to see him back in the Rossoneri soon. With a bit of luck, his latest episode won't have made him as crazy as big Zlatan:
