Ruprah cooly converted a penalty excellently won by Mah in the first half before the Iron were pegged back following a barrage of long balls over the top. An early second half goal by Wong gave Gastown the lead before Caliskan and Gladpran struck late to make the result certain.

Ultra soccer league - winter 2010-11 - round 4

Gastown F.C. returns to action this weekend against fellow Ultra League returnees the Eastvan Knights. The teams have faced each other twice in the past with G.F.C. winning both matches. Eastvan will look to avoid a repeat of the last outing when they found themselves on the wrong side of a 9-0 score line.

Team News:
G.F.C. will be playing their first game without Australian defender Ashley Woodcock who dramatically left the club after growing increasingly frustrated at Management's ability to organize a proper piss-up. Woodcock has since signed for Fernie Lifties United. The team will also be without the left-sided dynamo Taylor Willms who is unavailable due to WAG Leave.

Team From: Whelan, Drew, Mascall, Cavin, Grant, Kuznetzov, Goldsmith, Parrott, Willms, Jameson, Slaughter, Mottin, Lum
