As you no doubt know by now, The Iron has been affiliated with the good people at Umbro for about 6 months now. They have made our beautiful (now revered) burgundy and white home strip, as well as the understated white and black away combo. Umbro has lately been collaborating with various designers, including Peter Saville. Their latest range marries the old and the new. Using their history as one of the finest manufacturers of simple leather boots, Umbro have created a range of stylish premium leather products, all with a sporting feel.
The Ramsey Jacket (£295). A simple soft leather jacket, with Umbro's new digi print (think Joe Hart's England shirt) lining. Available in limited numbers of 92. The weekend bag (£150) and black leather football (£75) from the first photo are also available in limited numbers of 92. The Milton shoes (£90) are the only item that will be more readily available... 1992 pairs will be made.
My favourite item, is the remake of the classic Speciali boot. With all the classic stylings of the boot from the early 90's (the fold over tongue etc.), but with modern advances mean this a boot for the 21st century (blades at the heel of the boot, for example). Unfortunately for me, only 1,992 pairs will be made - at £110 a pair, these are sure to sell out quickly.
Here's a big congratulations to Umbro for such a steezy line, and also a warm thank you for their loyal support of Gastown FC. We wouldn't be half as handsome without you.

Looks cool - I've always been a fan of Umbro shoes, although I find them a bit pricey.
